Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages
Prepare all collected specimens for testing, analysis, and/or storage
Maintain participant and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Conduct inventory maintenance and supply ordering in coordination with the Business Manager and Clinical Research Program Manager

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of previous experience as a phlebotomist (adult population)
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Reliable transportation
Flexible hours of availability

Preferred

At least two years of previous experience as a phlebotomist (adult or pediatric population)
Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
