The role involves greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure a smooth workflow in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner

Schedule and confirm appointments and surgeries

Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries

Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence

Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable

Maintain accurate records of client interactions and appointments

Process prescription and food requests in a timely fashion correctly

Accurately schedule appointments, surgeries and boarding reservations

Complete daily department checklist to a high standard

Receive and respond or process incoming communications such as emails and AllyDVM

Confirm patients have all necessary communication and medication the doctor has prepared

Perform end of day closing procedures in Cornerstone – Hands on training will be provided

Stay up to date on patient history

Able to lift minimum of 15lbs

Intermediate knowledge of grammar and spelling

Proficient in in Microsoft Office and Windows Outlook

Willingness to adhere to work schedules

Veterinary experience preferred, but not required
