Responsibilities

Project Leadership: Manage the full life cycle of telecom operations, communications, and IT network projects, driving deliverables and ensuring high quality results

Financial & Schedule Management: Monitor and report on project schedules, budgets, and expenditures to meet time-sensitive financial targets

Coordination: Host reoccurring project meetings, drive action items across various departments, and provide guidance to budget forecasting and P6 scheduling teams

Stakeholder Management: Establish strong communication channels with clients, internal leadership, external partners, and regulatory agencies

Resource & Procurement: Determine resource allocation and collaborate with procurement to evaluate and select engineering and construction contractors

Risk & Compliance: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and utility codes

Client & Quality Expectation: Learn the client’s standardized process that outlines tiered project progression from inception through execution while incorporating company SOPs

Performance Tracking: Utilize KPIs to monitor project performance and adjust approach as necessary to meet objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Previous experience in project management, telecom/IT engineering, or a related role

10-15 years of experience with utilities, electrical system design, installation, and/or maintenance projects

Must be a curious and active listener, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and collaborative with a continuous learning mindset
