Sechan Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to provide engineering support to their Quality Engineering department. The intern will perform various tasks directed by Quality Engineers, including conducting AS9102 FAI, creating reports, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct AS9102 FAI including interpretation of Technical Data Package (TDP) with drawings, parts lists, Engineering Changes (EC), variances

Conduct MRB, dispositions and process nonconforming material

Create templates and reports for customer data requirements

Establish automated reporting and templates for various data

Document and track Return Material Authorization (RMA) material from customers

Creates necessary documentation and/or presentations to communicate with internal and external customers

Executes processes and ensures projects operate in accordance with documents AS9100 QMS and Quality Assurance related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Support QAM with creating, improving, maintaining, and SOPs compliant to the QMS

Executes all duties in an ethical and professional manner

Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the value of this organization

Required

Currently enrolled as a rising junior or senior in a 4 year college or university working towards a major in Engineering

US citizen due to government contract requirements

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Windows

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently; a 'self-starter' that requires little supervision once given a task

Possess good organizational and communication skills, enabling the candidate to work within and between integrated teams and perform a variety of tasks in a dynamic team environment

Possess the technical experience and background to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the development, test, and production environments as needed
