Responsibilities
Own and develop lathe machining processes from quote through production
Define machining strategies, tooling, fixturing, and inspection plans
Support CNC programmers and operators with troubleshooting and optimization
Improve process documentation, consistency, and repeatability
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (cycle time, scrap reduction, efficiency)
Collaborate with quality, production, and leadership teams
Serve as a technical resource and mentor on the shop floor
Qualification
Required
5+ years of CNC experience with strong exposure to lathe processes
Background as a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or Senior CNC Engineer
Experience supporting aerospace or ISO 9001 / AS9100 environments
Understanding of tooling, fixturing, GD&T, and machining principles
Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities simultaneously
Comfortable working onsite and leading from the floor
