Teaching Faculty I, 9 Month Salaried (Department of Risk Management/Insurance, Real Estate and Legal Studies)
Florida State University is a distinguished research institution, and they are seeking to fill a specialized faculty position in Risk Management/Insurance. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching four courses per semester at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, covering topics such as risk management, insurance, and business law, while also providing service to the department and university.

The faculty member will teach four courses per semester at the undergraduate and/or graduate level
Teaching responsibilities can include classes in risk management and insurance, healthcare, and/or business law
The topics and courses taught (upper division course(s), graduate course(s)) will be based on work and teaching experience
Some service to the department, college, university, and profession is expected
A part of this service may include being the faculty advisor of student groups
Travel with students is also expected
Qualification
Required
Candidates must possess a terminal degree (PhD or a Juris Doctor)
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check
This position requires the ability to travel occasionally
Preferred
Candidates with risk management, insurance experience, governmental affairs, and/or healthcare experience
