Responsibilities
Manage Month End Close Process to ensure books are closed timely and accurately
Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial data
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Maintain Fixed Asset Register and Depreciation schedules
Manage sales tax filings and compliance
Support ERP system activities and projects
Assist in annual financial review/audit with 3rd party audit firm
Participate in other related duties and special projects as assigned
Continuously seek opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
3–5 years minimum of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of financial reporting
Self-directed in planning and executing tasks while consistently delivering results without the need for close oversight
ERP system experience required; Sage X3 experience strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills, including use of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis tools
Solid understanding of GAAP and strong knowledge of internal controls
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across department
Preferred
Sage X3 experience strongly preferred
