Responsibilities

Design the installation of aircraft Equipment for Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and associated hardware; Design aircraft tubes and harness assemblies for Fuel, Hydraulic, and Environmental Control Systems; Design installation of aircraft Fluid routing and associated bracketry

Conduct trade studies and evaluate alternatives - optimizing form, fit, and function of the equipment installations

Define, develop, and finalize equipment layouts and systems and harness interfaces

Create Build-to-Packages for detailed parts, assemblies, and installations

Coordinate with other technical disciplines for optimized integration at the aircraft level (producibility, maintainability, tooling, interchangeability, materials & processes, stress, etc.)

Required

Must be a US Citizen

This position will require a government security clearance

Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or other CAD applications

Experience with CATIA V5

Experience with metallic design

Experience creating and/or modifying drawings
