Licensing Specialist I-IV or Sr. (Nuclear)

Responsibilities
Manages regulator's commitments. Interface with the NRC Resident inspectors and inspection teams. Maintains and implements regulations, including 10CFR50.59 and 10CFR72.48
Prepares, reviews and approves of correspondence to the NRC, including Licensee Event Reports, license amendments, allegation responses, generic letter and NRC Order responses, and required periodic reports. Submits performance indicator data to the NRC
Develops and revises procedures in accordance with current regulatory and administrative requirements. Coordinates SRC activities
Enhances communications by performing a liaison function between various work groups. Participates in the shared resources program
Serves as a member of the Emergency Response Organization. Interfaces with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of station activities
Communicates technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing
Qualification
Required
B.S. Degree in Engineering or related technical degree may be credited for up to 4 years of experience or equivalent work experience
6 years commercial or military nuclear experience
Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation
