4+ years expATC is seeking a DevOps Engineer / Release Manager responsible for managing and optimizing the application deployment pipeline. This role involves implementing automation and enforcing best practices across the Software Development Lifecycle, ensuring reliable and efficient software releases.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
Plan, coordinate, and manage application releases across multiple environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to streamline SDLC workflows
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Monitor deployments, troubleshoot release issues, and ensure rollback strategies are in place
Enforce version control, branching, and release management best practices
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit requirements during deployments
Maintain release documentation, runbooks, and deployment schedules
Continuously improve deployment reliability, performance, and scalability
Support incident management and post-release reviews to drive continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Management, or CI/CD engineering
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps best practices
Experience with version control systems (Git) and branching strategies
Preferred
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk)
Understanding of security and DevSecOps practices
ITIL or Release Management certifications
