Responsibilities
Lead and develop the HR team, providing daily guidance, coaching, and direction
Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and staffing strategies, including management of temporary labor partners
Manage employee relations matters, including investigations and corrective actions
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
Analyze compensation and labor market data to ensure competitive pay practices
Administer workers’ compensation claims and workplace safety initiatives through resolution
Manage FMLA and leave of absence programs
Communicate and implement HR policies, procedures, and updates across the organization
Maintain employee handbook, personnel files, and required compliance documentation
Oversee HR-related expenses, invoices, and the HR operating budget, including monthly variance analysis
Support payroll and new-hire processes as needed
Perform additional duties as required to support business needs
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of progressive HR leadership experience overseeing all core HR functions
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with professionalism
Proven ability to establish credibility and build trust quickly across all levels of the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
