Senior Software Developer - Dallas, TX
Texas Regional Bank is seeking a Senior Software Developer who will be responsible for the Bank’s software and customer data repositories. The role involves designing, building, and supporting enterprise applications while collaborating with various departments to deliver effective technical solutions that align with the Bank’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities
Design, prototype, develop, and support the Bank’s software applications, APIs, and databases
Own and maintain software systems and customer data repositories with a focus on reliability, security, and performance
Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Recommend, design, build, and support technical solutions aligned with business and regulatory needs
Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components, including third-party API integrations
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs and user flows into high-quality, accessible code
Mentor junior developers while also being open to guidance and mentorship from senior team members
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines
Keep up to date with innovations in technology as well as user interface designs
Understand and enforce IT policies and procedures
Be informed of and up to date on applicable regulations as they relate to projects
Support and promote the Bank vision, mission and core values, organizational structure and policies and procedures
Provide a strong, compassionate, and visible leadership, which fosters positive attitudes and trust among employees, customers, and prospects
Comply with federal and state regulations as well as all established Bank policies and procedures
Develop and mentor rising talent in the technology department
Attend and contribute to team meetings
Manage continuous improvement that exceeds customer expectations while assisting the bank in reaching 'best in class' service delivery

Be highly focused, able to rapidly determine key priorities, clearly communicate the priorities and ensure resources are properly aligned

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Business Analysis, Data Science, or other technology-related field
5 plus years of experience using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript with Angular
2 plus years of strong SQL experience
Solid understanding of data structures
Experience with CI/CD tools including but not limited to GitHub Actions
1 plus years of experience or familiarity with backend technologies and API integrations
Experience integrating third-party services via APIs
Experience working on Agile teams
Familiarity with frontend testing tools
Ability to perform thorough and constructive code reviews
Strong collaboration skills, especially with UI/UX designers
Willingness to mentor junior developers and actively participate in peer learning
Basic understanding of AI concepts and interests in applying them where appropriate
Have excellent analytical, observational, and decision-making skills
Must be highly focused, able to rapidly determine key priorities, clearly communicate the priorities and ensure resources are properly aligned
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) are necessary for maintaining effective relationships with Board members, officers, employees, and members of the business and civic community
Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Broad knowledge of the information technology landscape, stretching from infrastructure, network, client, server, database, and software design and development, to emerging technology standards and trends
Work under high pressure situations in a stressful atmosphere while remaining composed
Must possess an adaptive, empathetic, collaborative, and positive mindset
Mental concentration is required to perform concurrent tasks and meet deadlines while tolerating frequent interruptions
Must be physically present in the bank to perform these job duties
