They are seeking college interns for an eight-week program that provides hands-on experience in the criminal justice system, allowing interns to assist in various tasks under the supervision of legal professionals.

Responsibilities

College interns are given hands-on tasks that will familiarize them with the criminal justice system through the perspective of the prosecutor

Interns will aid in discovery, may observe witness interviews, hearings, and trials, listen to and transcribe 911 calls, and review police reports

Depending on their assignment, interns may participate in arrest intake processing, evaluations of notifications of child abuse or endangerment, or assisting in the review of materials to be disclosed to the defense

The interns will attend lectures and participate in a training program alongside the law student interns
