Fiscal Analyst II

They are seeking a Fiscal Analyst II to handle fiscal tasks for the Department of Molecular Medicine/Byrd Alzheimer's Institute, including financial planning, monthly reconciliations, and serving as a liaison to resolve budget issues.

Higher Education

Responsibilities

Maintains Molecular Medicine/Byrd Alzheimer's Institute financial reports, including monthly reconciliations for multiple USF Byrd accounts
Completes monthly projections for individual Molecular Medicine PIs
Assists with preparing the all-source budget and other reports
Enters grant award documents into the Bulls iResearch system and prepares budget allocations/reconciliations
Processes subaward contracts and prepares sponsor reports, meeting prescribed deadlines
Processes Purchase Order requests for the Byrd Alzheimer's Institute and Molecular Medicine - including BullMarketplace punchout orders and contract requests - and ensure that all requests are assigned to the appropriate chartfields
Ensures that chartfields have appropriate funding and provides financial forecasting on accounts when necessary
Conducts monthly analyses to monitor for spending, compliance, and processes expenditure transfer requests as needed
Other administrative duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or other field directly related to the position's specific responsibilities
2-4 years of fiscal related work experience; or a Bachelor's degree in no specific required field and three years of fiscal related work experience; or five years fiscal related work experience

Preferred

At least one year of university and/or research fiscal and business experience along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other field directly related to the position's specific responsibilities
Experience with federal funding and OMB guidelines
