This role supports large-scale, highly regulated environments and partners closely with infrastructure, database, security, and audit teams.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and support IBM Guardium DAM for z/OS
Deploy and manage Guardium S-TAP, Collectors, and Aggregators
Support DB2 & IMS database activity monitoring
Troubleshoot Guardium connectivity, performance, and data flow issues
Automate monitoring, health checks, and deployments using scripting
Support audit, compliance, and security requirements (SOX, PCI, etc.)

IBM GuardiumZ/OS sysprog fundamentalsDB2 for z/OS monitoringGuardium VSI deploymentScripting REXXScripting JCLScripting ISPFTCP/IPTLS/SSLTroubleshooting skillsOperational support skillsZSecureSIEM integrations

Required

BS/BA or equivalent experience
Strong z/OS sysprog fundamentals (SMP/E, RACF/ACF2/TSS, JES, USS)
Hands-on IBM Guardium for Mainframe experience
DB2 for z/OS monitoring & audit knowledge (IFCIDs, traces)
Guardium VSI (Collector / Aggregator) deployment & administration
TCP/IP, TLS/SSL, certificates, and secure networking
Scripting: REXX, JCL, ISPF, USS
Strong troubleshooting & operational support skills

Preferred

zSecure, RACF administration
SIEM integrations (Splunk, QRadar)
MQ, IMS, CI/CD, syslog / SMF experience
