Knowledge Management Consultant; Individual Consultancy; 10 Months

The Knowledge Management Consultant will facilitate, support, coordinate, monitor, and report on the implementation and community engagement activities of the ROTA project, ensuring that evidence and best practices are systematically captured and shared to inform policy and programming.

Responsibilities
Develop a unified results framework across all project phases
Align deliverables and implementation timelines with the updated framework
Monitor activities implemented by the partners and report back on findings
Conduct technical review of implementation across partners
Identify variances and recommend readjustments
Support revision of programme and workplans
Coordinate monthly partner check-ins and monitoring visits for the implementation
Document success stories and human-interest cases across all phases
Draft reports and infographics for donor presentations and communications
Compile learning paper highlighting key lessons, successes, and gaps
Collect and analyze partner data into a consolidated performance report
Analyze progress trends, risk flags, and bottlenecks
Contribute technically to the briefing for internal program management review
Conduct detailed review of programme implementation and monitoring
Technically contribute to the amendment and adjustment of programme and its funding impact
Provide technical support to partners in revising programme implementation
Conduct field visits and performance reviews
Collect qualitative and quantitative data to validate implementation progress
Technically contribute to the partner documents update and data analysis for the PD managers
Document action plans and timelines for improvement
Submit recommendations and actions plans in response to identified challenges
Report back to the program manager any issues faced in the field
Attend meetings with stakeholders and partners including actions agreed upon and follow-up plans
A consolidated report at the end of the consultancy, summarizing all activities, outcomes, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations for future initiatives
Development of at least 3 case studies and 2 success stories documenting successful project interventions and community impact
Timely documentation of any incidents or challenges encountered during project activities
Qualification
Required
A first-level university degree is preferred in info systems, information management, computer sciences etc. field and preferably experience in social facilitation/community engagement
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in information management, data management, business management and assessments, situation analysis and/or PM&E
Fluency in English and Arabic is required
Preferred
Previous experience in the ROTA climate change programme, focus on Decent Work issues, and in the facilitation of community engagement and/or community development
Previous experience and familiarity with the communities in the project location is considered an advantage
Relevant experience within the UN and/or NGO is an asset
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, GIS)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with data protection laws and ethical considerations
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with diverse stakeholders
Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts
