Responsibilities
Lead development efforts in building a robust Product and Content platform to support online browsing and shopping capabilities
Collaborate with product management and design to refine concepts, estimate work, and prioritize features
Work with multiple teams to solve business problems while continue to automate the development and release processes
Work across other technical teams to outline future system needs requirements, handle incident response and communication to ensure we meet business and engineering goals
Manage and develop team members via code reviews, mentoring, and technical design sessions
Implement a test-driven development approach to deliver software capabilities
Stay current with industry trends to identify opportunities for new products and platform improvements
Maintain robust testing suites and deployment processes
Continuously improve engineering tools, workflows, and developer experience
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems or closely related field and 5 years of related work experience
Experience developing and maintaining critical real-time serving systems in an environment where priorities are frequently shifting
Proven ability to use monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues
Experience leading and growing people both technically and professionally
Great product sense combined with strong technical communication skills
Worked in the high scale environment supporting browse, homepage, or similar content flows of a major ecommerce establishment
Experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Docker, Kubernetes
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or similar Content Management Systems (CMS)
