Responsibilities

Strategic Market Leadership: Lead the data center sales division, focusing on sustainable revenue growth and positioning Virginia Transformer as a preferred supplier for data center power solutions
Executive Sales Strategy: Develop and implement high-impact sales strategies to drive new customer acquisition within hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and edge data centers. Engage with key decision-makers, including executive leadership, procurement teams, and engineering stakeholders
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships by offering customized power transformer solutions that ensure power reliability, efficiency, and scalability. Proactively address client needs and strengthen customer satisfaction
Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning: Monitor data center industry trends, including emerging technologies, regulatory changes, energy efficiency initiatives, and market competitors. Leverage insights to adapt sales strategies and enhance Virginia Transformer's market position
Performance & Revenue Growth: Define, track, and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, ensuring targets are met or exceeded. Use data-driven decision-making to optimize sales execution
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with internal departments, including engineering, marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of power transformer offerings with evolving data center energy demands and ESG initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
10+ years of experience in sales or business development within the data center sector, with expertise in power transformers, electrical infrastructure, or power distribution equipment preferred
Proven track record of executive-level sales leadership, including strategic account management and business development in mission-critical power markets
Strong understanding of data center power infrastructure, including redundancy models (N, N+1, 2N), energy efficiency requirements, and industry standards (Uptime Institute, IEEE, NFPA, NEC)
Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders, engineering teams, and procurement executives
Ability to analyze complex power infrastructure challenges and develop effective, high-value sales strategies
