Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate concrete quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
Review plans, specifications, and local code requirements to define concrete scope, pricing, and constructability
Solicit and analyze pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, incorporating labor, material, equipment, and market conditions
Collaborate with project teams during preconstruction and handoff, identifying risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience of concrete estimator
Previous experience working for a concrete contractor
Experience estimating for commercial, K-12, healthcare or architectural projects
