Start in 2026 SummerDewberry is a leading professional services firm seeking a Site/Civil Engineering Intern in their Charlotte, NC office for Summer 2026. The intern will assist in site/civil design for various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial site development.

Responsibilities
Assist with all aspects of site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design
Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans
May also conduct code research, and assist with specifications
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering required
Experience with Microsoft office is required
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization
Preferred
Previous internship experience preferred
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Water CAD, and Storm CAD is a plus
