Responsibilities

Set and change the oven conditions as needed to meet customer specifications
Coordinate/Participate in size changes, screw changes, and clean outs with extruder and mill team
Must be able to perform the majority of the tasks required by each position on the Sheet Line
Understand and implement the weekly schedule and the 24 hour plan
Must be able to trouble shoot and problem solve in a thorough, logical manner
Gather documentation from mixing, extrusion and take-off
Write daily shift reports
Update the SQDIP reports on GEMBA board

Qualification

Oven operationTroubleshootingTeam leadershipBasic mathEffective communication

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read, write, and do basic math
Must have an understanding of all Tube Line Jobs
Must be able to effectively communicate and lead a work group
Must be able to perform the majority of the tasks required by each position on the Sheet Line
Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve in a thorough, logical manner
Must be a self-starter and able to motivate a group toward continuous improvement
Must be able to communicate with all employees effectively
Must be able to update SQDIPW boards daily, correct any entry errors in AIMS, and any 901 discrepancies

Preferred

A minimum of one year of experience within Armacell is highly preferred
