Responsibilities

Assist with prepping patients for procedures, applying ECG patches, obtaining vital signs, shaving patients’ groin or other areas as necessary; assist with room turnover, sterile table set up, femoral arterial and venous line pulls, radial band removal, bed pans, feeding, and walking post procedure, assist with patient discharge

Assists in the transfer of patients from stretcher and wheelchair to procedure table while maintaining the safety and patency of patient IV’s, catheters, and tubes

Qualification

Basic Life SupportCNA certificationNursing Assistant experiencePatient interactionVital signs measurement

Required

High School diploma or GED equivalent

American Heart Association Basic Life Support required

Ability to interact well with patients and take vital signs

Preferred

Previous experience, certification (CNA), or enrollment in a nursing school is a preferred qualification

Prior Nursing Assistant experience preferred
