Responsibilities

Make a monthly projection of vehicle requirements by department for the immediate 90-day sales period
Determine monthly and yearly forecasts for unit sales, gross profit objectives, and departmental profits
Forecast monthly with each salesperson to establish goals for showroom traffic, closing ratios, prospecting efforts, unit sales, and projected income
Recommend and implement procedures for advertising campaigns, sales promotions, staffing needs, compensation plans, and customer satisfaction initiatives
Conduct daily and weekly sales meetings to review team performance, provide coaching, and set action plans for success
Provide ongoing, hands-on training for sales staff to ensure consistent growth and achievement
Review monthly commission sheets, productivity reports, forecasts, and profit performance with dealership leadership
Maintain a balanced inventory and establish an effective strategy for inventory management and movement
Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by resolving complaints quickly and professionally

Required

At least 4+ years of Automotive Sales Manager experience in a publicly traded dealer
Minimum 4+ years of proven success as an Automotive Sales Manager or GSM in a dealership environment (experience with a publicly traded dealer group preferred)
Strong leadership, motivational, and communication skills with a focus on team development
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales and profitability goals
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Proficient in CRM and dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds, or similar)
Highly organized, results-driven, and committed to exceptional customer service
Professional appearance and positive attitude
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident
Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening
