Responsibilities

Demonstrates the ability to lead the development of complex product team, identifying and utilizing best practices and ensuring consistency across teams
Identifies and drives resolution to complex cross functional issues with minimal coaching
Recognizes resource imbalances across the engineering team and provides support, as needed
Anticipates and communicates future engineering tool needs
Makes design tradeoffs to deliver manufactureable solutions that maximize customer value while ensuring products meets costs, schedule, budget, reliability, thermal, electrical, regulatory and safety requirements
Anticipates informational needs of Core Team and Management. Clarifies, refines and communicates challenging, yet reasonable expectations. Predicts potential outcomes of actions and provides contingencies to ensure success
Develops and manages technical program schedules, tracking and reporting progress to Core Team
Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Qualification

Required

BSME degree with minimum of eight (8) years of product development experience
Proficient in the use of SolidWorks, CFD and FEA analysis tools to create mechanical designs
Strong background in design, tooling and manufacturing methods

Preferred

Data Center Thermal Engineering experience a plus
