College Student Tech (Intern)

Responsibilities
Experiencing multiple engineering disciplines, mechanical, hydraulic, avionics and pneumatics systems
Interaction on the shop floor with hourly aircraft assemblers
Responsible for tasks from the design phase to the manufacturing phases
Exposed to the generation of work instructions supporting the manufacture of detail components or assemblies
Support producibility reviews, generation of cost and schedule estimates, and tracking of tasks to closure
Qualification
Required
Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
A working knowledge of basic Mechanical measurement equipment
Basic understanding of product development
Must be a US Citizen
Preferred
Interest in in the shop floor practical solutions for aircraft technical issues
Familiar with Blueprint reading
Familiar with hand tools and equipment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Experience in flight control systems using iNAV
Experience in microcontroller and ESC options by dissecting firmware compatibility to identify the optimal configuration for quadcopter performance
Proficient with CAD software: CATIA, SolidWorks, Inventor, SketchUp
Experience in detailed 3D model of a robotic arm in SolidWorks
