Senior Consumer Strategic Pricing Analyst

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, focused on developing, manufacturing, and marketing a wide range of products. The Senior Consumer Strategic Pricing Analyst will support the Consumer Pricing team, particularly in Government Sales and B2B, by driving strategic excellence and managing pricing initiatives through analytics and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Key representative for pricing function in understanding intent of pricing programs/deals and how to establish in all relevant systems
Develop strong working knowledge of SAP system, primarily pricing and the billing types/conditions
Critical liaison with Price Administration team to establish best practices for transactional pricing excellence
Establish robust, repeatable, and sustainable audit processes to ensure invoice accuracy
Become subject matter expert in understanding how all relevant internal systems impact pricing and how to optimize
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the pricing area by suggesting/implementing changes to current processes and strategies to enable agile/flexible responses to transactional needs
Manage and deliver day to day transactional pricing responsibilities for Consumer Pricing
Develop, manage and execute various communications related to pricing, collaborating with different functional areas and utilizing different tools and systems
Work collaboratively with multiple teams across various channels within the Consumer division. Primary focus will be to support Government Sales team and B2B groups

Required

Strong process development skills with ability to interpret and communicate business impact of process changes
Excellent analytical skills with ability to source relevant data, create clear/concise decision models, interpret analytic results and make recommendations/provide actionable insights

Understanding of pricing/cost/margin decisions on company profitability
Strong organizational agility to enhance cross-functional communication and collaboration
Ability to communicate with all levels of organization
Excellent leader of self skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business related area or relevant job experience
5 years in related job preferred
