They are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to plan and design manufacturing processes and production workflows for their new facility, working closely with various engineering groups to ensure efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities
Plan and designs manufacturing processes and production workflow
Prepares plans, process specifications and procedures
Works with tooling engineer to implement assembly fixtures, tooling and equipment
Prepares labor estimates and tooling/equipment estimates for proposals
Conducts test and/or analyzes new manufacturing methods, materials, processes or standards
Compiles and evaluates test and production data and provides recommendations for process improvements
Conceives and plans projects involving major production activities, exploration of product and/or process problems
Coordinates technical matters relating to assembly drawing interpretation, Engineering Change Notices, rework and manufacturing specifications
Evaluates and defines efforts to eliminate defects and reduce costs
Performs Design for Manufacture/Design for Assembly (DFM/DFA) studies in coordination with Project Engineering
Write work instructions that are complete and accurate
Participate in design reviews to ensure contract requirements are incorporated and can be verified through design, qualification, inspection, software or test
Supports production activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Visio
Ability to maintain attention to detail under stress
Ability to understand and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Must submit to and pass a drug test pursuant to Company Drug-Free Workplace Policy
Must have good vision (may be corrected)
Must be able to communicate written and verbally
Must be able to travel
Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time, and be able to lift up to 20 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be willing and able to work outside of the standard work schedule, including nights and weekends
Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (Requires U.S. Citizenship)
Must be able to obtain BATF approval to work with our products
