Responsibilities

Project Coordination: The architectural coordinator serves as the central point of contact for all project stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, architects, and engineers. Manage project timelines, budgets, and schedules, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget
Prepare design options and feasibility studies prior to engaging
Contractor Selection: Select contractors and vendors to work on the project, negotiating contracts and ensuring that they meet the project's requirements
Design: Aid in the design process, working with architects and engineers to ensure that the design meets the project requirements, complies with building codes and other regulations, and is feasible within the project's budget and timeline
Project Planning: Help develop project plans, including the scope, timeline, and budget.Work with stakeholders to define project requirements, identify potential risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them

Required

Bachelor's in Engineering or Business
0-2 years of experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT is required
Knowledge of Design Manuals for branded environments
Familiar with National CAD standards
Minimum three (3) years' experience working in the Engineering, Construction or Architecture Industry
Minimum Associate's (2 years) degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture or Drafting technology
General knowledge of construction trades, especially millwork details, wood and steel framing, concrete, masonry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems is a plus
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing building codes
Knowledge of how to field measure and draw an as-built is a must
Ability to understand contract documents, plans, and specifications
Excellent time management skills and detail oriented
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Location: In Columbus office 5 days per week
