VTC Technician

Responsibilities

Responsible for daily management of MS Teams based VTC and Conference Room systems
Resolve problems and configure rooms to meet requirements for scheduled conferences
Operate and troubleshoot VTC and conference room equipment, initiating trouble tickets for external support when needed
Perform routine performance testing to ensure VTC equipment operates at optimal performance and capacity
Support the installation of new or upgrades of existing VTC systems
Serve as a Tier 2+ technician, handling uncommon incidents or requests outside the standard scope
Support VTC and Presentation Conferences, verifying functionality, assisting with setup, and troubleshooting during conferences
Perform spot checks of equipment to verify functionality on a scheduled basis
Troubleshoot Codec hardware, network, VLAN, software configurations, and inter-device connections
Respond to and resolve trouble tickets within the required Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Provide user training and mentor junior VTC technicians
Maintain an accurate and complete government asset inventory
Other duties as assigned

Required

Top Secret clearance level must currently possess
8+ years of related experience
US Citizenship Required
Education: Associate's Degree (Substitutions will be based on additional years of experience)
Technical Skills: System Administration, Video Teleconferencing Services, End User Support, Troubleshooting/Problem Solving
Security Clearance Level: DOE Q or TS
Skills and Abilities: Written and Oral Communication, Leadership, Strategic Planning, Organization, Problem Solving
