Interval is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This role involves supporting various financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while utilizing financial software to drive informed business decisions.

Responsibilities

Collect and analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes

Develop and maintain financial models using Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VBA macros, and other advanced functions

Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations utilizing tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Data visualization techniques

Conduct cash flow analysis, profit & loss assessments, and cost accounting to evaluate business performance

Support the creation of business intelligence dashboards and data visualizations to communicate insights effectively

Collaborate with the company and client facing teams based on your findings

Ensure accuracy in financial reporting

Required

Studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; relevant internship experience is a plus

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, macros (VBA), and data analysis tools

Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau for data visualization

Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation; familiarity with ERP systems like Hyperion or similar platforms

Understanding of financial concepts such as profit & loss statements, cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling

Ability to interpret complex financial data

Effective communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings clearly to stakeholders
