Responsibilities
Understand and follow all proctoring policies and procedures, especially as directed by the UB Testing Center Coordinator, instructors, USU Materials and Testing Website instructions, and any non-USU testing entities
Ensure integrity of all testing in classrooms and testing centers
Maintain accurate testing and equipment logs
Assist students, staff and faculty by operating classroom equipment that is essential to the delivery of connect classes
Provide assistance in the Classroom Services office, when necessary
Field any testing procedure questions from students, instructors, staff and public
Communicate and work with other statewide test proctors via SLACK and email
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Position requires knowledge of computers, use of email, and willingness to learn simple technology skills
Dependability, punctuality, and integrity are vital
Employees must be professional and dependable, must have access to reliable transportation and be punctual, and must have access to Internet (for email)
Employees must maintain confidentiality of student information and be able to communicate effectively
Ability to adapt to changing conditions or work assignments
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to build rapport with employees from a variety of backgrounds
Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision
Willingness to learn new skills or techniques
Preferred
Preference will be given to candidates who have previous college education and understand the relationship between students and instructors
