Junior Project Manager
The City of New York is seeking a Junior Project Manager to work within the Parks Program Unit of the Department of Design and Construction. The selected candidate will assist in project management tasks, including maintaining project information systems, establishing timeframes and cost schedules, and coordinating activities between various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Maintaining a project management information system to provide data for the planning and control of project development
Establishing project timeframes and cost schedules
Determining and coordinating project activities required between the client agencies, contractors, and departments responsible for project completion
Reviewing all schedules, reports, and orders prepared by consultants, contractors, and client agencies to assure compliance with project completion dates
Checking contractors' work performance via field visits and on-site inspections
Preparing management reports
Resolving problems that arise in meeting schedules and assigned budgets
Qualification
Required
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, landscape architecture, architectural technology, construction, construction management, construction technology, sustainable design, urban planning, urban studies, city planning, transportation planning, business administration, or public administration; or
A master's degree in architecture that is the first professional degree in architecture from an accredited college or university
Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position

Preferred
Candidate should possess excellent organizational, verbal, and written skills, with the ability to multi-task various projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred
