Associate - Senior Business Analyst – Payments Product Management, TD Securities

The successful candidate will be involved in managing requirements for various initiatives, supporting product management projects, and helping to drive the digital transformation of GTB's product suite.

Responsibilities

Act as a consolidator including documenting and managing requirements for various initiatives, employing low tech solutions (ex. CRM, SharePoint, etc.) to ensure effective organization for all of GTB Product
Assist with drafting of communications for external audiences including pitch materials for clients and prospects, speaker proposals for industry conferences, speaking notes for advisory board meetings
Prepare research materials for thought leadership and press releases as appropriate
Support the team through research, analytics and data-driven insights (for instance around market segments, revenue pools, etc)
Contribute to special projects across the Product Management team as required
Develop an in-depth understanding of the GTB products and of client needs, competitive landscape, and trends in GTB industry to assist in identifying new opportunities
Forge connections across GTB and TDS to provide recommendations on emerging trends and topical advancements for Product to get ahead of
Champion an intelligence culture that empowers the organization evaluate client needs, market trends, and competitor movements, that help inform TD’s actions and priorities

Required

Undergraduate degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to formulate impactful messages tailored to the audience
Results oriented with ability to manage and solve problems in ambiguous or unclear situations
Highly detailed with a sense of responsibility
Analytical and logical; able to deduce trends to make timely recommendations
Proactive, positive attitude, and desire to learn
Deep passion to create and contribute to meaningful change
Storytelling –- ability to translate and articulate requirements between stakeholders and sharing while providing business context

Preferred

Experience in transaction banking, wholesale banking, financial technology, treasury, or payments
Product and/or project management
Understanding the end-to-end flow of the client, bank, and customer value chain
