Food & Beverages
Responsibilities
Keep an accurate count and weight on finished product lots
Ensure the correct tags are used on each lot
Load trucks
Operate the scale used to determine the correct weight for each tote
Instruct the personnel in your area in proper methods of work performance
Operate lift truck as needed
Check all equipment to ensure it is operated properly and maintained
All employees are directly responsible for the quality of OEN products. Each employee must perform their job function in accordance to the GMP rules and the Sanitation, Safety and HACCP Programs
Follow safe work practices and comply with all company, federal and state rules and regulations which apply to the job, including but not limited to, Right to Know, emergency evacuation, electrical safety, confined space, bloodborne pathogens and lockout/tagout
Keep the Shift Production Supervisor informed of all problems
Execute special projects and other job-related activities as directed
Sanitation: Keep the working area clean, neat and in an organized manner
Notify Plant Management of any issues with dirtiness in the facility
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
1- 5 Years forklift experience required
Must be able to work any shifts (days, evening, nights and 12 hours shifts)
This role is performed on site at a facility that regularly processes peanuts. Employees in this position will routinely work in areas where peanuts and related allergens are present and may be exposed by contact or in the air. Reasonable accommodations may be available to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions of the role
