They are seeking a Director for their Digital Business Automation team to lead the development of enterprise server-side applications using Java technologies, collaborating with various internal teams to support Account Onboarding.

Responsibilities

Building enterprise server-side applications using Java EE Technologies, hands-on development using Java technology
Hands on development of Java applications as well as multi-tier Java EE style applications in the finance technology supporting all Account Onboarding business lines
Collaborating with multiple technology teams that are upstream and downstream to the application which include Account Onboarding co-partners and firm's GL system etc
Working in the Agile development methodologies, collaborating with business and technology teams located globally

Required

5+ years of hands-on experience of Java v1.8 or higher
Excellent knowledge of Java EE, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Spring Boot, Spring framework, MQ, Kafka, Databases (Db2/SQL), Webserver (Apache Tomcat preferred), Spring Integration & Batch Processing
Experience and very good understanding of Design Patterns
Good understanding of DevOps practices and tooling
Experience in understanding of requirements of large enterprise applications (security, entitlements etc.)
Experience working in Agile development methodologies
Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred

Working Knowledge of building applications in the Cloud
Working Knowledge of Unix/Linux and/or any scripting language
Working Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript
Working Knowledge of BPM based tools and applications
Working knowledge of Financial markets and Wealth Management
