Responsibilities

Developing creative shopper marketing campaigns, and other communications, customized to the client or customers’ needs
Engaging in meetings and needs assessments with both clients and customers to ensure the end product is in line with expectations and drives business results
Organizing and participating in brainstorming sessions by contributing/generating ideas/concepts to meet existing and new clients’ objectives and strategies
Managing multiple projects/demands simultaneously with quality execution and on time delivery
Supporting the Request for Proposal process in developing creative new business campaigns
Advising current and potential clients on Acosta’s products and services
Making recommendations on the marketing and positioning of Acosta’s product and service offering
Managing timelines and milestones from beginning to end including strong organizational and time management skills
Becoming a visual storyteller, and thriving using a variety of multimedia platforms to showcase services and capabilities, to sell clients’ brands and promote the company as the provider of choice
Consistently upholding brand and style guidelines and communicating, and potentially teaching, these standards to others internally
Managing content storage and distribution of important Acosta and client documents including (but not limited to): RFPs, RFIs, presentations, templates, logos, branding guidelines, communication deliverables (internal/external)

Required

1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a retail/merchandising/marketing environment
1-2 years of supervisory/management experience
Degree or diploma in Graphic Design or related program with an impressive portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with comfort working in PowerPoint
Ability to develop deep knowledge of different brands and retailers, including established guidelines and templates
Curious, problem-solving creative mindset
Interest in learning and contributing to storyboarding for animated ads and short-form video
Desire to learn how to concept, plan, and direct photoshoots with support from senior creative leadership
Collaborative, team-first attitude with the ability to work independently when needed
Possess strong technical skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, with comfort working in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Outstanding attention to detail and high degree of accuracy and ability to sell the company message through visuals/graphics
Experience interacting with all levels of management (including senior/executive level) and across business units
Exceptional written communication skills and storytelling ability
Strong understanding of the Retail and CPG industry
Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines, work on many projects simultaneously, and effectively collaborate within a team, or as an individual, in a corporate setting
Critical thinking skills used to interpret complex concepts and translate them into easy to understand graphs, charts and visual graphics
Expert graphic designer who provides strategic and creative solutions

Preferred

Background in Graphic Design preferred
Experience working with creative departments, marketing or sales
