Creative Strategist (Performance Marketing)

They are seeking a high-performing Creative Strategist to bridge the gap between creative and data teams, focusing on performance marketing efforts that drive ad output and conversions. The role involves analyzing performance data, developing campaign strategies, and collaborating with global teams to ensure effective creative production.

Responsibilities
Analyze performance data (CTR, ROAS, CPA) from 100+ creative tests per week to identify winning patterns and brief designers on smarter iterations
Develop comprehensive creative briefs for major performance channels (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok) that balance brand storytelling with direct-response science
Serve as a gatekeeper for AI implementation within creative production, policing quality while leveraging emerging tools to boost speed and volume
Partner directly with Ads Operations and Visual Design teams in Shenzhen to manage the end-to-end production lifecycle
Proactively audit the Meta Ads Library and internal feeds to flag branding inconsistencies and ensure only high-performing assets are live
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years in a creative strategy or performance marketing role, preferably at a high-growth D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) brand or agency
Proven track record of managing high volumes of ad creative (spending $700k–$1M+ monthly)
Deep familiarity with Meta Ad Library, Google Analytics, and ad performance metrics
Ability to work flexible 'mid-day to early evening' hours to collaborate with teams in Shenzhen
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
Preferred
Professional proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage for collaborating with our international design team
