Responsibilities

Review contractor prepared FTTP designs to meet Lightcurve design requirements
Review FTTP designs to confirm meet all contractual agreements, municipal ordinances, and state/federal regulations related to utility pole attachments, conduit use, and ROW work
Serve as the primary point of contact for Lightcurve with the contract engineers and communicate any updates/revisions/changes need to design. This will include maintaining continuous communication with them to insure design approvals are moving as fast as possible
Maintain meticulous records of all design projects, timelines, and progress in project management databases
Review engineering designs and construction plans (make-ready analysis, strand maps, plats) to ensure Lightcurve Design standards are met as well as compliance with city/county/state requirements and standards. Work closely with permitting counter parts who will perform the permitting analysis
Identify and implement efficiencies in the design process to reduce cycle times and project delays

Required

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications, utilities, or construction design, specifically FTTP design
Strong understanding of FTTP design and construction standards
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Competency in GIS mapping tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and tracking software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective negotiation and technical correspondence
Valid driver's license with non-negligent driving record
Ability to complete and satisfactorily complete all background checks and screenings

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field such as planning, engineering, or project management
Current first aid, CPR, or Flagger training a plus
