Responsibilities
Administer Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts from onboarding through ongoing administration
Review trust instruments for beneficiary provisions, Crummey powers, and administrative requirements
Open and maintain trust administration files and master policy records
Coordinate execution and submission of life insurance applications and related documents
Prepare premium funding request letters and follow up with clients as needed
Coordinate deposits into trust bank accounts and maintain trust accounting records
Prepare and distribute Crummey notices and related beneficiary correspondence
Draft and submit premium payments and documentation to insurance carriers
Open and manage trust bank accounts and online banking platforms
Monitor and calendar ACH collections and premium payment schedules
Prepare consents for trust transactions including policy surrenders and value changes
Prepare ownership and beneficiary change requests for insurance policies
Maintain accurate records across trust accounting, practice management, and client systems
Interface regularly with banks, trust companies, insurance agencies, and professional advisors
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in trust administration, ILIT administration, estate planning administration, life insurance operations, or fiduciary services
Experience working with legal and financial documentation
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple trust files independently
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with ILIT administration and Crummey notice compliance
Prior work with a bank trust department, trust company, insurance agency, or law firm trust practice
Familiarity with trust accounting systems and online banking platforms
Florida Life, Health, and Annuities license (2-15) is preferred but not required
