They are seeking a Financial Consultant to review and ensure the accuracy of accounting activities, coordinate the month-end/year-end close process, and support internal and external reporting requirements.

Responsibilities
Preparation and review related to the Chart of Accounts
Provide input on the design, process flows, and reporting for the future-state Oracle ERP and considerations associated with the retrofitting of existing systems
Assist with Oracle testing activities and provide recommendations to the system
Assistance with reviewing ongoing financial reporting such as financial statements, HCAI reports, and UCOP reporting
Assistance with ongoing projects for the Accounting department (BCH Oakland employee integration, enhancements to the Business Unit reporting package, acquisitions, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related area or four years of equivalent experience
Five or more years or more of experience in financial transactions and financial systems, as well as related policy, accounting, and regulatory compliance requirements
Three or more years of healthcare experience in finance/accounting or Public Accounting
Experience with focus in healthcare clients
Expert knowledge of healthcare accounting practices and regulatory compliance requirements
Expert level analytical and critical thinking skills
Comprehensive ERP / financial systems experience
Highly advanced problem-solving skills
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
Advanced ability to identify process improvements
Expert knowledge of common desktop / web applications
Preferred
Professional Certification (Finance / Accounting)
