Outside Sales Representative - Diagnostic Cardiology & AED Service (Southeast Region)
Life Support Systems is a high-growth company focused on diagnostic cardiology and hospital-based services. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Southeast to manage an exclusive territory and drive sales of Philips diagnostic cardiology equipment, as well as expand their AED service and maintenance offerings.

Responsibilities
Exclusive sales responsibility for Philips EKG, stress test, and related diagnostic cardiology equipment across a defined Southeast territory
A mature, significant customer base of hospitals, health systems, and cardiology practices with ongoing de novo and replacement demand, along with a new high growth opportunity – AED service & maintenance
Territory strategy, account planning, and quota attainment with direct visibility to leadership
Primary commercial relationships with clinical, executive, and supply chain stakeholders
Counsel potential customers on the importance of having their public access AEDs professionally maintained through a low-pressure sales environment that strengthens long-term relationships
Drive face-to-face and virtual selling activities: prospecting, qualification, on-site and remote presentations, product demos, in-services, and post-sale follow-up
Build deep, consultative relationships with cardiologists, service line leaders, biomedical engineering, and materials management across key health systems
Navigate GPO and contracting channels via Philips as a manufacturer and Life Support Systems as a distributor to enable streamlined purchasing for customers
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through qualification, quoting, negotiation, and closing within established pricing and contract parameters
Maintain a disciplined pipeline and accurate forecasting in the company CRM, ensuring transparent territory performance reporting
Coordinate with clinical, implementation, and service teams to support smooth installs, training, and high customer satisfaction
Represent Life Support Systems and Philips at targeted tradeshows, conferences, and regional events to strengthen presence in diagnostic cardiology
Continuously deepen your understanding of cardiology workflows, equipment lifecycles, interoperability, and competitive dynamics in the hospital environment
Qualification
Required
Several years of successful outside sales experience in medical devices, ideally with exposure to hospital capital equipment or cardiology
Proven ability to drive growth in a territory role, manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and consistently hit or exceed quota
Executive presence and consultative selling skills, with the ability to influence both clinical and administrative decision-makers
Strong business discipline in territory planning, CRM hygiene, and pipeline management, coupled with comfort operating autonomously in a remote, entrepreneurial environment
Preferred
Familiarity with diagnostic cardiology equipment and existing relationships with cardiology or related hospital stakeholders are strong pluses
