Responsibilities
Establishing and maintaining confidential employer/business files
Enter all customer transactions into QuickBooks
Work in excel with pivot tables
Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate AR aging reports
Monitor cash balances to ensure adequate operational funds
Follow up on A/R collections and billable charges
Verify billing details, including prices, terms and account information
Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner
Record and reconcile customer payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy in financial statements
Monitor and enforce credit policies and procedures
Maintain professional and positive relationships with customers
Qualification
Required
1+ years Accounting Experience
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data
Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
High attention to details, ability to take directions, self-check and follow up on work
Must possess critical thinking, problem solving, judgment and decision-making abilities
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, QuickBooks or other accounting software
Ability to apply discretion, trust with confidential company information
Preferred
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field
