Temporary Admissions Reader
Northwestern University is seeking a Temporary Admissions Reader for their College Preparation Program, which assists academically advanced high school students. The role involves evaluating applications and advising students on completing their applications, requiring a commitment of 20-40 hours per week, primarily conducted remotely.

Responsibilities
Participate in mandatory virtual training
Review and evaluate approximately 10-100 applications per week
Exercise professional judgment in reviewing, evaluating, and recommending applicants for admission using established guidelines
Review applications started and email applicants to assist them in completing the application
Advise students about the best program/course
Assist Program Coordinator and Program Assistant with summer program prep
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired
Ability to communicate effectively
Preferred
Higher education admissions experience or work similar work experience
Working knowledge of academic programs, including curricula and admissions requirements
Knowledge of the Northwestern environment
Familiarity with NU or higher education CRM systems (SES, CLSS, RADIUS, etc.)
Previous experience working with high school students
