Florida State University is seeking highly qualified individuals for a tenure track faculty position in the Department of Chemical & Biomedical Engineering. The successful candidate will develop internationally recognized research programs, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and supervise students and researchers.

Incorporate interdisciplinary collaboration with researchers across campus
Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in education
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
Supervise undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral researchers
Qualification
Required
Candidates must possess an earned Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
Demonstrate documented potential for outstanding research
Priority will be given to candidates that complement and build upon our research in polymers and soft materials
Areas of particular interest include sustainable polymers such as bioderived/biodegradable polymers and circular polymerization/depolymerization research
Energy-related applications of polymers
Novel polymers for biomedical applications
Expertise in high-throughput experiments
