Responsibilities

Lead and mentor teams of 8 to 12 data engineers across multiple accounts
Design and deliver hybrid data platforms across on-premise and cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP
Build and optimize batch and streaming pipelines using Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and Python PySpark
Work with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server
Deliver data solutions for customer analytics, risk and fraud detection, regulatory reporting including BCBS 239 and CCAR, and payment systems
Drive cloud migration strategies, API integrations, and microservices-based architectures
Ensure data governance, security, and BFSI compliance best practices

Required

Strong experience leading data engineering teams within the BFSI domain
Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Deep knowledge of Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Python PySpark, and orchestration tools
Solid understanding of financial data models, risk frameworks, and regulatory standards
Experience designing scalable and secure hybrid data architectures
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Exposure to AI and ML integration within data platforms
Experience with real-time analytics and event-driven architectures
BFSI certifications such as FRM or CFA or cloud certifications
