Quality Engineer - Vehicle Systems

Responsibilities

Determine and evaluate test requirements

Develop and revise acceptance test procedures

Conduct vehicle verification checkouts to establish baseline of test assets

Execute functional acceptance test procedures

Document status of testing compliances and deficiencies

Communicate test results to internal and external customers as required

Support other areas of Engineering Quality Assurance as needed/directed

Coordinate quality activities in the prototype shop across multiple organizations to ensure vehicle safety, functionality and configuration(s)

Required

Bachelors degree in Engineering - Quality, Mechanical Systems preferred but other degrees will be considered with relevant experience

In lieu of a bachelors degree, will consider Associate Degree and/or significant technical experience also considered with relevant work experience

3 to 5 years of experience required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal

Able to bring continuous improvement processes and methodologies to the position

This position will require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)

Preferred

Experience on military vehicles

Ability to work in a shop environment

Ability to work within an interdependent team

Ability to travel up to 25%

Ability to work Overtime as needed, including nights and weekends

This position may require the candidate to be able to climb on/off, work in, and work around military vehicles is desired

Must be able to pass ASR test (Anthropometric Size Requirement for confined space)
