Responsibilities
Acts as a primary lead on projects
Coordinates with clients to set up site visits and complete deliverables
Manages project resources and sets/meets deadlines to ensure that projects stay on schedule
Produces project reports that synthesize data collected from our onsite inspections with environmental factors, material properties, and performance analysis to determine the most likely cause and scope of distress and failures to buildings and components
Performs site visits to collect field data on residential, commercial and industrial properties
Reviews and interprets relevant building codes as necessary for issues pertaining to the scope of work
If requested, oversees the development of repair designs ensuring adequate coordination across disciplines
Makes independent decisions for projects including a selection of analysis and testing methods, repair materials (if necessary), and identifying and selecting resources relevant to the project
Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Active PE license required
Bachelor's degree required
Proven ability to write comprehensive technical reports on inspection results
Preferred
Minimum of 10 years' experience in forensic engineering preferred
