Responsibilities

Direct the work efforts of professional employees and contracted resources ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements through comprehensive reviews and accurate documentation

Lead the administration, maintenance, and resolution of user issues of systems, applications, and data supporting tax compliance and analytical reporting, with an emphasis on M365 products, including SharePoint, Power Automate and Dataverse

Drive innovation by evaluating and deploying new technologies to strengthen digital capabilities and meet department goals, while leading process improvements and automation to boost efficiency

Lead technology-driven projects that deliver synergies and robust controls, while working closely with stakeholders to define requirements, understand tax considerations, and support enterprise or global tax initiatives

Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint sites and dashboards & visualizations

Oversee completion of timely US tax payments

Required

Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, IT, or business-related degree with progressively responsible job-related experience

Understanding of effective communication concepts; adapts documents and correspondence for intended audience, Demonstrates both empathy and assertiveness when communicating a need

Knowledge of approaches and tools for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving problems; organizes problem solvers and leads to resolution; analyzes and synthesizes information, and devises alternative resolution strategies
