Responsibilities

Integrating data from multiple complex datasets and databases to construct flexible and sustainable data sources for use in organizational analysis and reporting
Creating descriptive and analytical reports, interactive data dashboards, and data visualizations to support planning and decision-making
Analyzing, interpreting, summarizing, and presenting data and findings to all levels of the university community
Preparing datasets for external entities such as the Council of Graduate Schools, National Science Foundation, and National Institutes of Health
Advising individuals and groups on ad hoc requests and special projects involving graduate education data
Collaborating with other units on campus to support effective data sharing and ensure that data assets are appropriately accessible, usable, documented, and protected

Required

Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong technical and analytical skills accompanied by the ability to clearly communicate methods and findings to a general audience
Ability to extract and transform data from multiple complex datasets and databases using SQL
Proficient with the manipulation and analysis of large and complex datasets
Proficient with data visualization software such as Tableau
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative fashion with a variety of others
Intellectual curiosity and an interest in solving complex problems involving data
