Desktop Support Specialist

The McGowan Companies is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to assist employees in the Pacific time zone. This position is responsible for the configuration, implementation, and support of all end user computing hardware and software, serving as the face of the IT department.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, administer, and support desktop hardware and software
Field tickets and phone support requests in a timely manner
Manage and troubleshoot network hardware and software
Maintain open communication with end users and management
Maintain documentation of all systems
Maintain inventory of hardware and supplies

Qualification

Microsoft WindowsDesktop SupportMS Office applicationsTroubleshootingCommunication Skills

Required

2-year degree in IT or equivalent work experience
Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows environments
Must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness and ability to learn
IT Desktop Support: 3 years (Required)
